The X-Men: Eternity fan fiction Universe picked up at the end of Marvel Comics' House of M and went in a different direction. The Scarlet Witch failed to erase the world's mutant population, but accidentally scattered the X-Men to various timelines and created the reality-hopping villain Slayer.
After three months spent fighting in different dimensions, the X-Men have defeated the Slayer. Now they embark again on their separate missions: Bobby Drake must lead the team in the field. Emma Frost attempts to reopen her Massachusetts Academy. Wolverine returns to the past to rescue a missing team member, while Rogue & Gambit try to set right the history they altered, and Cyclops and Jean Grey search for a captive Professor X in the future. This is more than one X-Men story. This is Eternity...
