M-R

M (Monet St. Croix)
Starring in: Generation: Eternity #1-
Previously in: New X-Men #1-6, The Crossroads

NOTES: Monet St. Croix was mostly paired on missions with the Beast in the future of Reality 502. It was she who killed the evil Sage, to protect Hank. Now she returns to her own reality on the staff of the Massachusetts Academy. In this capacity she encountered Layla Miller, who is apparently terrified of M for reasons unknown.

MACTAGGART, MOIRA - Semi-DECEASED
Guest-Starring in: Excalibur #2, 5-6, The Crossroads

NOTES: The true Moira MacTaggart is still dead. However, in order to enlist the help of Sean Cassidy, the Stepford Cuckoos apparently “created” a new Moira, who lived in the Camelot reality under the name Moira Kinross. She felt an automatic connection to Sean because she was made that way, but gave herself away by not feeling any similar love for Rahne Sinclair, Moira's ward.

Moira Kinross remains in the Camelot reality, helping to put that timeline right. She knows nothing of the future or the woman she resembles, and her true nature is something of a mystery.

MAGMA (Amara Juliana Olivia Aquilla)

NOTES: Magma has not been seen since the House of M, and her status is unknown.

MAGNETO (Erik Magnus Lehnsherr) DECEASED???

Guest-Starred in: X-Force #1-6, The Crossroads

NOTES: Exiled to his personal hell in Nazi Germany by the Scarlet Witch, Magneto initially delighted in crushing the Nazis. Then he was captured by the Slayer-- possessed, drained of power, and humiliated. In one final act of defiance, Magneto turned on his tormentor and used the last of his power to bring a building down around their heads. He is presumed dead, but then, he's Magneto.

MARROW (Sarah Rushman)
Starring in: Exiles #1-
Guest-Starred in: New X-Men #1-2, 7

NOTES: The Reality 616 version of Marrow was missing after the House of M, and has reappeared as part of the new Weapon X team, trapped outside of time.

Her future counterpart in Reality 502 is Lady Sarah, a mutant aristocrat obsessed with stopping the treacherous alternate Storm. Toward this end, she kidnapped Forge, but Storm defeated her in combat and she aided the Wind-Rider after that.

MARVEL GIRL (Rachel Grey)
Starring in: Uncanny X-Men #7-
Previously in: New X-Men #1-6, The Crossroads

NOTES: In the future timeline of Reality 502, Rachel grew close to the counterpart of her brother Cable, only to be betrayed yet again when he turned on the team. In her anger, Rachel bonded again with the Phoenix Force, and her power has been hiked up considerably by the experience.

Also in the future, Rachel met the alternate Nightcrawler, whom she inspired to restart the X-Men of his time. She retains strong feelings for her own Kurt, and will serve alongside him on the main team.

MELTDOWN (Tabitha Smith)
Starring in: Exiles #1-

NOTES: Tabitha was missing after the House of M, and has reappeared as part of the new Weapon X team, trapped outside of time.

MERLIN (DECEASED)

Guest-Starring in: Excalibur #1-6, New X-Men #5, X-Force #6

NOTES: Merlin was an alias for the Slayer, actually the name of his first vessel who combined with the Adversary to create his present form. The vessel was killed by Havok in Excalibur #6, but the Slayer part survived until The Crossroads.

METRALLA (Sarita Vazquez- DECEASED)
Guest-Starred in: Uncanny X-Men #2-6, The Crossroads

NOTES: An angry and aggressive mutant whose only friend was the precog Savant, Metralla joined Mystique's Brotherhood, but eventually aided the X-Men in their fight against the Slayer. She was killed unexpectedly when Savant proved to be a traitor.

MILLER, LAYLA
Guest Starring in: Generation: Eternity #2-

NOTES: Layla Miller is one of the students at the new Massachusetts Academy, and a rival of Phoebe Cuckoo's. She has shown an ability to create chaos and an unreasonable terror of Monet St. Croix. She knows stuff.

MIMIC (Calvin Rankin)
Starring in: Exiles #1-

NOTES: The familiar version of Mimic remains with the Exiles team, although now without his love, Blink, whom he was separated from by the House of M reality shift.

MIRAGE (Dani Moonstar)
Starring in: Exiles #1-

NOTES: Dani was missing after the House of M, and has reappeared as part of the new Weapon X team, trapped outside of time.

MONOLITH (Sonja Janssen)
Guest-Starring in: Uncanny X-Men #2-6, The Crossroads, Generation: Eternity #1-

NOTES: A deformed mutant covered in lumps of scar tissue, Monolith is the constant companion of Hawk and boasts enhanced strength and durability. She was badly wounded in the fight with the Slayer and will hone her skills at the Massachusetts Academy upon her recovery.

MORDRED (DECEASED)

Guest-Starred in: Excalibur #5-6

NOTES: Merlin's biological son was supposedly immune to his powers. He wasn't, and was killed while helping Havok and Polaris defeat the slayer.

MORPH

Starring in: Exiles #1-
Guest-Starring in: New X-Men #6-

NOTES: The familiar version of Morph is still with the Exiles (and alive). His reality 502 counterpart is a rogue who was among the first contacted by Nightcrawler to join his New X-Men. When Nightcrawler was wounded by the alternate Domino, it was Morph who helped him escape. They are presently at-large.

MR. SINISTER (Dr. Nathaniel Essex)

Guest-Starring in: X-Factor #1-2, 7

NOTES: The 616 version of Sinister has not been featured yet, and his whereabouts are presumed unchanged from Marvel's canon.

In the Civil War era of Reality 915, Essex's counterpart was a Southern landowner performing hideous experiments on slaves to create Marauders, an army of mutated servants. He was defeated by Angel and was semi-presumed dead, but nobody believes that. If you did believe that, well, see his guest-starring issues, above.

MULTIPLE MAN (Jamie Madrox)

Starring in: X-Factor #7-

Previously in: eXcalibur #1-6, The Crossroads

NOTES: Jamie Madrox was a reluctant member of Jean's team, and spent most of his time hanging out with Rahne and the Juggenaut. After heroically creating an army of himself to defend them (eXcalibur #6), he watched in agony while a renegade duplicate joined the Slayer, killing Mindee Cuckoo. Jamie brutally beat the dupe, nearly to death (both were without powers at the time), and still suffers the psychological trauma from dealing with his 'evil' self.

Jamie's gone to the past to find his friend Guido, who is suspected to be in Reality 915. Disturbingly, a number of his dupes now seem to be in love with Rahne, although the main Jamie insists he has no feelings for any one person. Perhaps influenced by a desire to get away from her temporarily, he has set off on his own, where he's stumbled upon both Guido and the mystery of Apocalypse.

MYSTIQUE (Raven Darkholme)
Guest-Starring in: Uncanny X-Men (#1-), X-Factor (#7-)
Previously in X-Factor #1-2 (alternate version), The Crossroads
Guest Appearances: NXM #6 (impersonated by Morph)

NOTES: Although initially working for the Slayer to start a new Brotherhood of Mutants, Mystique soon learned the reality-hopping villain wanted HER dead, too, and switched sides. She has come to a tentative agreement with Cyclops to work with the team occasionally, and is trying to repair her relationship with Rogue.

An alternate, much younger version of Mystique has been seen in X-Factor, where she was working for Nathaniel Essex, and now is helping Reality 915's Morlocks.

In the future of Reality 502, Mystique is Minister of War and much-feared. It is unknown where she is in the World War II timeline of Reality 758, but due to her long lifespan, she could potentially be there, too.

NIGHTCRAWLER (Kurt Wagner)

Starring in: Uncanny X-Men #7-

Previously in: X-Force #1-6, The Crossroads

Guest Appearances: Uncanny X-Men #5 (via Cuckoo), NXM # 4, 6-

NOTES: Kurt offered himself to the Slayer to protect Nocturne from falling into its grasp, then was wounded in the effort to recover him. Upon recovery, he will be serving with the X-Men's Gold Team, where he seems to be in a triangle involving his sort-of love interest Rachel and the Scarlet Witch. He has also grown close to TJ, and thinks of her as a genuine daughter.

His Reality 502 counterpart is the last remaining X-Man, and has taken it upon himself to restart the team. He carries a dark secret-- it was Kurt who killed that dark future's Scott Summers, to prevent him from hurting his wife. Nevertheless he is a good man, and perhaps that world's final hope for peace.

NOCTURNE (Talia Josephine Wagner)

Starring in: Uncanny X-Men #7-

Previously in: X-Force #1-6, The Crossroads

NOTES: TJ Wagner found herself stranded in the past after the House of M, and joined Wolverine's strike force. There she grew close to her 'father,' Kurt, and in the Crossroads, also saved her mother, the Scarlet Witch, from the Slayer. TJ believes the two are destined to be together, but her new Gold Team teammate, Rachel Grey, seems to feel differently. TJ is also in her own triangle, as she is attracted to Warpath.

NORTHSTAR (Jean-Paul Beaubier)
Starring in: Generation: Eternity #1-
Previously in: Uncanny X-Men #1-6, The Crossroads

NOTES: Northstar escaped from SHIELD custody with his mental state restored to normal following the House of M. He was badly wounded in the final battle with the Slayer, and has joined the Academy's teaching staff while recovering. He is using the resources of his position to search for his missing sister, Aurora.

OMEGA RED

Guest-Starred in: X-Force #2-3

NOTES: The Reality 616 Omega Red has not been seen in our series and is presumably still at large.

Reality 758's Omega Red is an entirely different man with similar powers: Alexei Kamarov, a Soviet super-soldier designed as their answer to Captain America. He is a grudging ally of Logan's team.

OUTLAW (Inez Temple)

Guest-Starring in: New X-Men #3

NOTES: The 616 version of Outlaw has not been seen, and is presumed unchanged from Marvel's canon. Her future counterpart in Reality 502 was an assassin hired by Sage to frame Katherine Pryde for murder. She shot Monet and winged Sage, and was stopped by Forge. She is now in custody.

PARKER, MARY-JANE WATSON
Guest-Starring in: Spider-Man Eternity one-shot.

NOTES: Mary Jane remains married to her husband Peter, although he has left her (in his Spider-Man guise) in an attempt to set right the fractured timeline. MJ is also a famous movie star in Reality 502. The Juggernaut developed a crush on her after seeing one of her old movies.

PARKER, MAY REILLY
Guest-Starring in: Spider-Man Eternity one-shot

NOTES: Aunt May was seen briefly talking to her nephew in the Spider-Man one-shot. She was getting ready for a date with Avengers butler Jarvis.

PHOENIX (Jean Grey)
Starring in: New X-Men #7-

Previously in: Excalibur #1-6, The Crossroads

Guest Appearances: Uncanny X-Men #1, New X-Men #6 (alternate version)

NOTES: Jean was resurrected by the combined power of the Scarlet Witch and the Phoenix in Uncanny #1. Reappearing in Reality #225's Camelot, she led a team of X-Men against a telepath named Merlin, who turned out to be the Slayer. Jean's management style was a little distant, and some of her teammates feared she was the Dark Phoenix, but she did become a mentor to Mindee Cuckoo and develop a close working friendship with Havok during this time. She left the team to save her daughter Rachel, whom she is trying to mend fences with.

After battling the Slayer in the Crossroads, Jean has returned to the X-Men. Despite some awkwardness, she has agreed to join her ex-husband, Cyclops, in the hunt for Professor Xavier.

POLARIS (Lorna Dane)

Previously in: Excalibur #1-6, The Crossroads

NOTES: The time in Camelot was a journey of rediscovery for Lorna, who helped to solve the puzzle of the Slayer, saved her half-brother and sister, Pietro and Wanda Maximoff, and eventually played a vital role in the team's victory.

Lorna has broken up with Bobby Drake and seems to be interested again in Alex Summers-- but anything that might happen between them will be delayed while Lorna returns to the Camelot reality. She is currently on sabbatical, trying to purge the anger she's felt since Genosha. (Is there a Polaris one-shot story in the works? Hmm.)

PROFESSOR X (Charles Xavier)
Starring In: New X-Men #7-
Previously in: The Crossroads
Guest Appearances: Uncanny X-Men #5-6

NOTES: Charles Xavier had been missing since the House of M. Somehow he kept himself removed from the Scarlet Witch's reality shift and even managed to recruit the Stepford Cuckoos to protect his students in the various realities. How precisely Xavier did this is something of a mystery even to him-- he believes he suppressed his memories of the events to keep the Slayer at bay.

During The Crossroads, the four remaining Cuckoos and Reality 502's alternate version of Cable combined their power to retrieve the Professor, and he joined his students in the final battle by telepathically “shutting off” some of the Slayer's stolen power. While recuperating, however, he was ambushed and kidnapped by the 502-Cable, who wishes to have Xavier replace the Professor X of his timeline. Xavier's counterpart was assassinated before he could bring his dream of mutant-human cooperation to light.

PSYLOCKE (Betsy Braddock)
Starring in: X-Force #1-
Previously in: The Crossroads
Guest Appearances: New X-Men #3, 7-

NOTES: Betsy Braddock has often functioned as the de facto leader of the X-Force team, backing up Logan and occasionally guiding him along the right path. She also recovered her telepathy, a gift from the Stepford Cuckoos in X-Force #4.

Lately, she has also been flirting with Logan. It is unknown how deep either of their feelings may go. Betsy sacrificed herself to allow her teammates to escape back to the present in X-Force #6, and is now missing in the past.

Her reality 502 counterpart is General Elisabeth Braddock, a feared and ruthless mutant warrior who was captured and spent many years as a brainwashed Hound. Freed by Bishop and X-23, she has reclaimed her military command and set out for revenge. This version of Betsy retains her original body and powers.

PYRO (St. John Allerdyce)

Guest-Starring in: New X-Men #5-

NOTES: The 616 version of Pyro hasn't been seen since House of M, and is presumably still deceased.

His Reality 502 future counterpart is a minor noble who cast his lot with the evil Storm, and now supports the Black Panther in his effort to retake Wakanda.

QUICKSILVER (Pietro Maximoff)

Guest-Starring in: Excalibur #1-6, The Crossroads

NOTES: Pietro found himself in the Camelot reality, caring for his sister Wanda, whom he thought was dying. Harrassed by the Slayer, he eventually joined forces with his other sister, Lorna, to save her, and helped the X-Men in the Crossroads.

Pietro has yet to take responsibility for his actions in the House of M, and has particularly made an enemy of Sean Cassidy, whom he beat with his superior speed at their first meeting. He has accompanied the Uncanny team to Latveria, where he is attempting to resume his hero career despite a persistent fear that he's too like Magneto.

REYES, DR. CECILIA

Starring in: X-Factor #1-

Previously in: The Crossroads

NOTES: Because of her skin color, Cecilia Reyes is forced to pose as a slave in the Civil War era of Reality 915. Despite this, Cecilia has chosen to remain with the team because of the numerous opportunities it offers her to help people, particularly runaway slaves.

Cecilia somewhat resents her lot in life and the Confederacy surrounding her, but has nevertheless struck up a friendship with Captain Richard Everett, a renegade Southern officer who likewise came to appreciate Cecilia as a skilled physician.

RHODES, JAMES
Guest-Starring in: New X-Men #7-

NOTES: The 616 version of James Rhodes has not been featured, and his status is unknown.

The Reality 502 version of Rhodes was a battle-scarred human general who made his reputation as one of Tony Stark's ferocious War Machines. It was he who put Matthew Gregson in charge of the human counter-offensive.

RICTOR (Julio Esteban Richter)
Starring in: Exiles #1-

NOTES: Rictor was missing after the House of M, and has reappeared as part of the new Weapon X team, trapped outside of time.

ROGUE (Anna Marie)

Starring in: X-Factor #1-

Previously in: The Crossroads

Guest Appearances: Uncanny X-Men #7

NOTES: Rogue serves as team leader of the X-Men's “Green Team,” or X-Factor, in the Civil War past of Reality 915. She has her Miss Marvel powers back (X-Factor #5), as the result of a deal with Guillaume, a mysterious member of the Thieves Guild, who told her that they would be even stronger now, and she would never control them. The extent of these powers is unknown.

She was thought to have lost her Sunfire powers in the trade, but under the influence of the Slayer, manifested those as well (The Crossroads). Whether she will keep them is also unknown.
